Zijn toon was warm, snijdend en emotioneel, en zijn spel kon fluisteren of schreeuwen binnen \u00e9\u00e9n enkele solo. Hij bewoog moeiteloos tussen blues, hardrock, jazzrock en metal, maar zijn hart lag altijd bij de blues. Moore speelde alsof elke noot een verhaal vertelde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jeugd en Beginjaren<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Gary Moore werd geboren als <strong>Robert William Gary Moore<\/strong> in 1952 in Belfast. Hij groeide op in een muzikaal gezin en werd al vroeg be\u00efnvloed door Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix en vooral Peter Green van Fleetwood Mac. In de vroege jaren zeventig sloot hij zich aan bij de heavy\u2011metalband <strong>Skid Row<\/strong>, waar zijn talent meteen opviel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Doorbraak (1973-1990)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Na Skid Row speelde Moore korte tijd in zijn eigen Gary Moore Band, waarna hij zich in 1973 aansloot bij <strong>Thin Lizzy<\/strong>.
