Hij was een dichter, een dromer, een rocker, een romanticus, een Ierse rebel met een zachte kern en een harde buitenkant. Zijn stem had warmte, zijn bas had swagger, en zijn teksten hadden een ziel die je niet vaak tegenkomt in rockmuziek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hij was een man die leefde tussen licht en schaduw en precies daar schreef hij zijn mooiste werk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Jeugd &amp; Beginjaren<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Phil Lynott werd geboren in 1949 in West Bromwich, maar groeide op in Dublin. Als gemengd\u2011ras kind in een grotendeels witte, katholieke samenleving kende hij al vroeg het gevoel van anders zijn. Maar dat \u201canders zijn\u201d werd zijn kracht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hij vond zijn toevlucht in muziek: rock \u2019n roll, soul, po\u00ebzie, verhalen. Hij speelde in verschillende bandjes voordat hij zijn eigen richting vond, een richting die de wereld zou leren kennen als <strong>Thin Lizzy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Doorbraak &#8211; Thin Lizzy &amp; de Klassiekers (1970-1979)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Thin Lizzy werd zijn levenswerk, zijn stem, zijn familie.
